In spite of some difficult mobility issues now and after 30 years as an administrator at CCSF and as the Vice-Chancellor of Governmental Affairs, Leslie Smith continues to champion City College for all! This past Monday, August 17, she, Rick Baum, and I met with Mahanaz Ebadi of Supervisor Dorsey's staff to talk about the importance of keeping campuses--specifically the Downtown Campus, which is in Supervisor Dorsey's district--open. Of course I also mentioned 750 Eddy, which was closed abruptly in 2015 for seismic retrofitting, paid for with our taxes, which was never done these past 11 years.
